Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso, TX seeks a Charge Registered Nurse to coordinate, support and supervise nursing staff in delivering patient care. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Texas or a Compact State.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained by specified deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support and supervise other RNs in delivery of nursing care.
• Oversee shift transitions and patient/family teaching.
• Delegate nursing care and coordinate flow of work.
• Ensure documentation of assessments and plans of care.
• Maintain safe environment and respond to changing patient conditions.
