Job summary

Trilogy Healthcare of Battle Creek LLC seeks a Charge Nurse (RN/LPN) to lead the nursing team on the assigned unit in our skilled nursing facility. You will support the Director of Nursing, supervise CNAs, coordinate daily resident care, and help ensure quality care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is desired (not required).
• Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess Residents conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make regular rounds of Residents with/without a physician; observe and evaluate symptoms and reactions to treatments and medications.
• Administer medications to Residents within regulatory standards and notify staff of contraindications.
• Supervise CNAs during shifts to ensure quality resident care and smooth operations.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; manage supplies and equipment.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and Plan of Correction responses.
