Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Active Wisconsin RN license (or compact state) prior to start; PSOR update if relocating.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, safe patient care.
• Mentor staff, oversee documentation, and coordinate assignments based on patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with certification and documentation standards (Cerner, UDS).
• Provide clinical mentorship for nurses caring for medically complex patients.
• Coordinate patient and family education and resources to reduce readmissions.
