Job summary

Responsibilities include daily rounding, staffing coordination, mentoring, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating after‑hours pharmacy needs.

Qualifications

• Two-year nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Wisconsin RN license required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required or obtained within 12 months of hire; TNCC encouraged.
• 3+ years related work experience required.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of patient care across departments and communicate transfers.
• Oversees flow between departments.
• Mentor staff and maintain professional work environment; answer questions and provide resources.
• Assist Directors with time behavior expectations and follow-up with Department Director.
• Assist staff in providing direct patient care as needed and ensure staffing.
• Retrieve items necessary for patient care across departments.
• Assist with proper patient placement for admissions to Acute Care.
• Assist with after-hours Pharmacy needs.
• Activate and manage Incident Command in Mass Casualty Incidents.
• Coordinate staffing needs between departments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
