Perry Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will supervise CNAs, administer medications, coordinate admissions/discharges, and ensure residents’ plans of care are followed.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explains procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients’ cooperation and alleviate apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress of the patient.
• Maintain patients’ medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Record nursing needs of patient on care plan to assure continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability of patients, show interest in progress, and prepare them for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
