Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan - Luverne is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents and families, and with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to license and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe care. Requirements include an active MN RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a Bachelor's degree in nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address care concerns.
