The Cardiology Charge Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patient flow, assessing clinical needs, and leading care plans.
Facilitate patient admissions, develop and implement complex care plans, promote evidence-based practices, and evaluate patient satisfaction. Act as a clinical resource, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support practice improvements.
Requires an RN license, a nursing diploma or associate's degree, with 2-5 years of experience; a bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience are preferred. Leadership experience is not mandatory.
Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, leadership, communication, and commitment to safety. Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
