Overview
High‑Risk Cardiology nurse position in a 32‑bed unit covering cardiac illnesses. Provides advanced medication infusions, post‑cardiac procedure care, and collaborates closely with cardiology consults.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into ambulatory setting.
- Lead development and implementation of complex care plans with interprofessional team input.
- Utilize evidence‑based practices, participate in journal club, drive practice change, and disseminate knowledge.
- Analyze gaps in practice standards and provide feedback to improve patient safety.
- Adjust care to improve patient experience and satisfaction.
- Maintain safety‑sensitive work standards in a highly alert environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree.
- Experience: 2–5 years nursing experience.
- Licensure: RN.
Preferred Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Experience: 5–10 years nursing experience.
- Supervisor Experience: 1–2 years supervisory experience.
