Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Charge Nurse for a 3p-11p shift to deliver effective nursing care under supervision. You will delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while coordinating with the care team to ensure positive outcomes and family satisfaction.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure in the state and BLS/CPR certification. Two years of clinical experience, including long-term care, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Must maintain BLS/CPR certification as required by state and facility.

Responsibilities

As a Charge Nurse and change lives. Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Director of Nursing (Nurse Leader), you will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. In this position you will delegate aspects of patient care to licensed and unlicensed staff consistent with their scope of practice. You will also manage patient care and collaborate with the nursing team and other disciplines, patients and families to ensure the development of effective plans of care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

A minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of one years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing is preferred. Must maintain a current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by State).
