BayCare Health System's Winter Haven Hospital is seeking an RN - Charge Nurse for the Med/Surg Neuro unit. The role combines clinical leadership with patient-centered care and daily unit oversight.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing and an RN license, with ICU experience preferred. Shift hours are 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM; this is a full-time role within a large, mission-driven health system that values growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS required.
• 2 years RN acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in care of a patient population with managerial duties.
• Serve as a role model for nursing team and share organizational information.
• Perform as preceptor and charge nurse on assigned shifts.

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team


• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information


• The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse
