BayCare Health System is seeking an RN - Charge Nurse for the Med/Surg Neuro unit at Winter Haven Hospital. The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to act as a role model for the nursing team. Responsibilities include precepting staff and managing care on a busy inpatient unit.

The position is full-time at Winter Haven, with shifts on the 3rd shift and typical expectations for even-on weekends, CMS vaccine compliance, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years RN acute care experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as a professional role model for the nursing team and provide managerial leadership as Charge Nurse.
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse, developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.
• Oversee patient care on the Med/Surg Neuro unit and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Description: RN - Charge Nurse

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information

• The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse
