The RN - Charge Nurse provides patient care with strong managerial skills and acts as a role model for the nursing team; the role includes

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years RN acute care experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• RN - Charge Nurse provides patient care with effective managerial skills and acts as a professional role model for nursing staff.
• Performs role of preceptor and charge nurse, supporting team development and leadership.

Position Description: RN - Charge Nurse

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team


• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information


• The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
