Big Spring Center for Skilled Care is seeking a Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident well-being in our Texas facility.

You will supervise Nurse Aides, administer medications, implement care plans, document care, and collaborate during shift reports while maintaining safety standards and compliance with regulations. We offer a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

• RN or LVN in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Responsabilités

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
