Responsibilities

• Direct Nurse Aides in providing appropriate resident care
• Administer medication properly
• Implement care plans according to guidelines and physician's orders
• Perform treatments and transcribe physician orders accurately
• Document residents' charts timely and accurately; complete assessments as required
• Participate in shift reports
• Educate support staff on care needs and implement nursing policies
• Maintain a safe environment, adhering to infection control procedures
• Respond to staffing shortages by arranging replacements
