We’re seeking a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are extremely important. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, work cooperatively and politely with others, and effectively multi-task in a stressful environment are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide Nurse Aides in providing appropriate care to residents.
  • Administer resident medications properly.
  • Implement resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physicians' orders.
  • Perform treatments as required.
  • Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
  • Document residents' charts timely and accurately. Complete nursing assessments as needed.
  • Participate in shift reports.
  • Implement established nursing policies and procedures; educate support staff on residents' care needs.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to infection control and body mechanics procedures.
  • Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacements.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Licensed/Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and pay attention to detail.
