Shifts Available: 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-8PM

We’re seeking a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance are extremely important. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperate politely with others, and effectively multi-task in a stressful environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Give direction to Nurse Aides for appropriate resident care
• Properly administer resident medication
• Implement resident care plans in compliance with company and federal guidelines and physician's orders
• Perform treatments
• Accurately transcribe physician orders
• Document residents' charts accurately and promptly; complete nursing assessments as required
• Participate in shift reports
• Implement established nursing policies and procedures; educate support staff on resident care needs
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to infection control and body mechanics procedures
• Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacements

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Licensed/Vocational Nurse in good standing
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and note details
