Rockport Healthcare Services in Eureka, CA is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN or LVN) to oversee a nursing unit, coordinate care, and supervise staff. Starting wage $32.00 per hour, with increases based on experience.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for new full-time hires. The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program graduate, current license, strong leadership, and solid communication skills.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (RN or LVN).
• Current nursing license in good standing.
• CPR certification valid.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee assigned nursing unit, coordinating care and assignments.
• Supervise nursing staff according to training level and resident acuity.
• Ensure compliance with facility procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Maintain safe, efficient shift operation and resident rounds.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in care plan meetings and infection control.
• Communicate with patients, families, and medical staff promptly.
• Contribute to QA program and staff trainings.
