Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services in Eureka, CA seeks an LVN for a NOC shift (7pm–7am) to provide nursing care in a long-term care setting. A graduate of an accredited LVN program with current California licensure is required, along with CPR, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Weekend availability is required for this role. Starting wage is $32.00/hour, with increases based on experience, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an approved LVN program.
• Current nursing licensure in good standing with the State licensing board.
• Ability to provide quality patient care within standards, policies and procedures.
• CPR certification and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care as prescribed by physician within scope of practice.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents per policy and procedure.
• Gives/receives nursing reports and maintains unit cleanliness and safety.
