Care Initiatives seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our network of skilled nursing communities in Iowa as a Charge Nurse—LPN. Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of State-approved LPN Supervisory Course or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Strong empathy and commitment to resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ clinical status and update care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver and oversee direct nursing care including wound care and IV therapy (as allowed).
• Administer medications and document as required.
• Lead unit operations and communicate care needs with physicians, leadership, residents, and families.
• Supervise CNAs and support staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Ensure adherence to state/federal regulations and infection prevention.
• Provide education and emotional support to residents and families.
