Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in good standing and active in Iowa.
• Current CPR Certification.
• State-approved LPN Supervisory Course completed or obtainable within 90 days.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments of residents' clinical status and contribute to care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver and oversee direct nursing care including wound care and IV therapy as permitted.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, with compliant documentation.
• Serve as a clinical leader coordinating resident care with physicians, leadership, residents, and families.
• Supervise and mentor CNAs and other assigned staff.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and infection prevention practices.
• Provide education, guidance, and emotional support to residents and families.
