Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus seeks a charge nurse to guide staff, maintain a safe environment, and optimize patient throughput on a busy unit. You will delegate assignments and supervise support staff according to training and patient acuity, in collaboration with medical providers to ensure quality patient care.

You will oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges, mentor staff, monitor charts, and liaise with doctors and administrators while enforcing health and safety

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience.
• Certifications: Current license to practice nursing; BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversees admissions, transfers and discharges; mentors and trains new staff.
• Monitors charts; provides compassionate patient care; liaises with doctors and admins.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations; maintains accurate reports.
