Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeks an RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership and clinical expertise on their shift and department, coordinating resources to support staffing and patient care needs.

You will supervise the interdisciplinary team, ensure quality and safety, and participate in continuous quality improvement. Requires BSN within four years, active RN license, BLS, and unit-specific certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification such as ACLS, PALS, etc.
• Experience in the assigned clinical area.
• Mentoring experience.
• BSN from an accredited institution; must obtain BSN within four years if hired.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care.
• Direct and coordinate the care team to implement the plan.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Lead and coach staff to uphold professional standards and safety.
