Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit-specific certification such as ACLS, PALS, etc.
• Experience in assigned clinical area.
• Mentoring experience.
• BSN from an accredited institution; BSN must be obtained within four years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments across physical, social, and psychological dimensions.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust plan of care.
• Directs and coordinates care delivery to meet patient needs and maintain outcomes.
• Plans for teaching, referrals, and follow-up as part of care transitions.
• Ensures staff accountability, safety, and professionalism.
