Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seeks an RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership and clinical expertise on their shift and unit. You will coordinate staffing and resources to meet patient needs, and act as a role model for professional nursing practice.

You will delegate care, mentor staff, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while maintaining patient-centered care. The role requires a BSN, current RN license, BLS, and unit-specific certification.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification (ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• BSN required; must obtain BSN within four years of hire/promotion if not already attained.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift resources to ensure appropriate staffing and care delivery.
• Delegate and supervise nursing care in accordance with the plan of care and licensure.
• Mentor and coach staff to uphold professional standards and nursing excellence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and family engagement.
• Address safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in daily operations.
