Job summary

You will direct clinical staff under the Clinic Manager's guidance while providing direct patient care on 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active NM or Compact license, ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, and one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited nursing program and an active New Mexico or Compact state license.
• Minimum ADN preparation.
• One year nursing experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of clinical staff.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified by management.
• Facilitate shift change huddles and document daily operational performance metrics.
• Implement effective communication and teaming strategies to optimize care delivery.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and monitor ED tracking board during shifts.
• Ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered care and proper shift staffing.
