Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing minimum from an accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO).
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
• ACLS, PALS or other specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Charge RN will provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes including patient flow, quality and safety.
• May provide direct patient care as needed.
• Lead unit staff in designated service area(s); collaborate with Nursing Director, Managers and leadership team.
• Support Surgical Specialty Unit post-op care for 16-bed Progressive Care Unit.
