Job summary
Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care during 12-hour night shifts. You will lead care delivery, coordinate with the team, and ensure adherence to standards of practice and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- Degree from accredited academic nursing program (minimum ADN).
- State of New Mexico nursing license or compact licensure required.
- Certification prerequisites: BLS; ACLS for specified units; NRP; PALS.
Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of patient care, delegate to home health aides and nursing staff based on patient needs.
- Maintain clinical competency and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate patient care with family, physicians, and community resources.
- Educate patients and families about rights, consent, and care plans.
- Direct educational needs for common diagnoses and conditions and supervise home health aides.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid rules and hospital policies.
- Communicate effectively with nursing team and other disciplines; participate in problem solving.
