Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality care for patients from birth through the lifecycle. This role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy, NRP, and related specialty certifications, with completion within orientation where required.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, communicate patient needs clearly, and ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practices across units.

Qualifications

• Must be a Graduate from a recognized, accredited nursing program.
• Georgia RN licensure required; BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications typically required.
• Orientation period may require additional certifications (NRP, PEARS, etc.) and ongoing specialty credentials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provide clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serve as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
