Candidates should have nursing program graduation, GA RN license, BLS, and may require advanced certifications depending on the unit. Prior hospital experience is preferred. This is a full-time position based in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program required.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• Two or more years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC multistate license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty required where applicable.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required depending on unit.
• NRP and AWHONN certifications may be required for labor/delivery or NICU roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle and handles shift-based operational issues.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader.
