Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital seeks a registered nurse to coordinate high-quality care across the birth to life cycle with shift-based leadership and clinical duties as census demands.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification, plus 1 year hospital experience; Bachelors preferred. Addendum notes specialty certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• 2 years or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
