Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle on the shift. You will provide clinical care as needed and communicate care concerns to leadership.

You will also serve as a resource for guidance to staff, supporting safe, efficient patient care. Required is active Georgia RN licensure with BCLS; ACLS, PALS, and other certifications may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting Required
• 2 years or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting Preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
