Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care across the lifespan during shifts. You will provide clinical care as needed, communicate patient care issues to leadership, and serve as a resource for guidance to staff.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification; NRP completion by orientation, and AWHONN fetal monitoring training within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
• Strong ability to coordinate care and communicate with leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands and communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
