Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor (RN) to oversee patient care during night shifts in our LTAC/ICU settings. The role supervises RNs, LPNs, and CNAs and coordinates with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will ensure timely response to clinical changes, promote a positive environment, and provide direct patient care as needed based on staffing and acuity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Acut e care, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Detailed computer knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care activities by RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CNAs.
• Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff about changes in patient condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Foster a positive milieu in the hospital and keep leadership apprised.
• Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.

AMG Specialty Hospital -Zachary is a FullTime Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor, (RN) with ICU, 2 yearsLTAC or Step-down experience for Night Shifts.

The Charge Nursesupervises the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPN/LVNs, andCNAs.Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff, as appropriate aboutchanges in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studiesand symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment. Responsible for fostering a positive milieuin the hospital. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may placefacility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based on staffingand patient acuity.

Job Requirements
