Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Zachary is seeking a Full Time Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor (RN) for night shifts with ICU/step-down experience. The Charge Nurse supervises patient care and coordinates with physicians, CCO, and staff to respond to clinical changes.

Qualifications

• Graduate with RN licensure in Louisiana or eligible state licensure (unencumbered).
• Experience in acute care, ICU, or step-down/ LTAC settings preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care activities performed by RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians and staff promptly.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and treatment responses.
• Foster a positive unit milieu and keep leadership informed of risks.
