Vintage Wellness & Rehabilitation in Denton, TX seeks a dedicated Charge Nurse (6A-6P) to lead the medical-surgical unit. You will oversee nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality bedside care.

The role requires an active LVN/LPN or RN license in Texas, with at least 1 year of experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Texas LVN/LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of LVN/RN experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve conflicts.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure efficient care.
• Monitor and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide direct patient care, including meds, treatments, education, and support.
• Communicate with patients, families, and providers to ensure seamless transitions.
