Job summary

Vintage Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Charge Nurse (LVN/LPN) for our Long-Term Care facility in Denton, TX. The role focuses on nursing care within scope of practice, following standards, physician orders, and center policies to meet residents' needs.

The Charge Nurse will lead care with attention to patient conditions, orders, and regulatory guidelines; prior management experience is a plus. We support full-time staff with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established charting and incident reporting procedures.
• Follows procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin issues, weight loss, or other changes.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
