Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a part-time Chaplain to provide spiritual care for residents, families, and staff at Wesley Woods in New Albany, OH. The role emphasizes worship, counseling, and compassionate guidance within a senior living setting.

The ideal candidate is a Master’s level Chaplain with ordination and at least two years of congregation service, preferably in senior care, with CPE experience or the ability to obtain it within 18 months. Board certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree of Divinity preferred; Ministry Ordination desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years serving a congregation, preferably in a senior community or health care setting.
• Minimum of 1 unit CPE, or ability to achieve within first 18 months.
• Board Certified Chaplaincy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide worship and spiritual enrichment opportunities to residents and staff.
• Attend to residents who are homebound or in local hospitals, either personally or through Friend Visitor program.
• Support residents with end-of-life spiritual care.
• Assist with Advance Directives/Advance Care Planning.
• Offer Pastoral Counseling to residents, family members, and associates.
• Perform spiritual assessments and spiritual plans of care for residents.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team care planning.
• Lead Vespers, Independent Living Bible Study weekly, pastoral care, and visitations as needed.

The campus Chaplain provides spiritual guidance on campus. This role provides pastoral care services to residents, family members, and associates
