Job summary

Cedar Ridge Village in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to join our team. The Chaplain provides pastoral leadership and coordinates all ministerial activities, including spiritual and personal counseling for residents, family members, and staff, serving as a key contact with local clergy.

Responsibilities include coordinating religious gatherings for all care levels, developing communications with local clergy, and participating in visitation programs to support residents,

Qualifications

• Ordained minister with MDIV/MA in Theology or chaplain certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of ministry experience in a congregation, hospital chaplaincy, mission or para-church ministry.
• Clinical training in geriatric counseling or pastoral experience in a congregate living setting preferred.
• Experience with ministries to seniors is required.
• Ability to set priorities and manage time efficiently.
• Available to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Chaplain to join our team! The Chaplain is responsible for providing Pastoral leadership in coordinating all ministerial activities including spiritual, religious, and personal counseling/guidance to residents, family members and staff.
