Job summary

Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation seeks a CHAP Assistant Manager to provide leadership and administrative support for the Community Health Aide/Practitioner Program in the region. You will oversee daily CHA/P activities, ensure compliance with quality checks, and liaise with CHAP management on clinic operations.

The role requires supervisory experience, travel to clinics and villages, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with electronic health records. CLIA training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to clinics and village sites as required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and multitask effectively.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Familiarity with the electronic health record systems (eCHAM/iCHAM) preferred.
• Ability to pass a negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Adheres and enforces BBAHC and CHAP policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality concerning corporate business and finances, employee relations, and patient information.
• Acts as a liaison for patients for CHA/Ps with problems or questions.
• Maintains CHAP essential database for compliance and quality control.
• Monitors CLIA training and CLIA logs.
• Compiles the monthly village council report and reviews for content.
• Assists CHA/P in the ordering and maintenance of supplies, and equipment.
• Reviews monthly clinic supply orders.
• Reviews expirations and ensures that the clinics pull the expired supplies from stock.
• Reviews weekly incomplete charts from HIMS, determines nature of incomplete and contacts the Health Aide.
• Approves Health Aide absence requests and ensures clinic coverage.
• Participates in data collection for Population Management.
• Follows up with the villages ensuring that the orders on the spreadsheet are fulfilled.
