Apparel Brand | Greater Los Angeles | Hybrid
We’re an established apparel brand looking for an Amazon Channel Manager to grow a profitable, well-run Amazon business. We need someone who understands the details of selling apparel online—from size and color variations to assortment, replenishment, and product content that helps shoppers find the right fit.
You’ll own the day-to-day Amazon business, including sales performance, product listings, promotions, inventory coordination, and account health. You should be equally comfortable digging into a sales report, fixing a listing issue, and explaining what we should do next—and why.
What you’ll own
- Channel performance: Manage sales, profitability, and execution against Amazon goals. Identify opportunities and recommend actions that improve performance.
- Assortment and merchandising: Partner with Merchandising to build an Amazon assortment, manage size and color variations, and execute product launches, pricing, and promotional calendars.
- Product content: Keep titles, descriptions, images, A+ Content, and the Brand Store accurate and compelling, with clear information on fit, sizing, fabric, and product benefits.
- Inventory coordination: Partner with Demand Planning and Operations on forecasts, replenishment, and availability across styles, sizes, and colors. Flag stockouts, excess inventory, and fulfillment issues early.
- Advertising partnership: Work with internal media partners or agencies to align advertising with channel goals, available inventory, launches, and promotions. Evaluate results against sales and profitability.
- Account health: Monitor suppressed listings, catalog errors, unauthorized sellers, customer feedback, and other issues affecting the business. Drive resolution with Amazon and internal partners.
- Reporting: Provide clear updates on sales, conversion, traffic, margins, advertising performance, returns, and inventory, with practical recommendations.
- Amazon relationships: Manage day-to-day communication with Amazon contacts, agencies, and service providers, holding partners accountable for results.
What you bring
- 4+ years of ecommerce or marketplace experience, including direct responsibility for an Amazon business.
- Apparel experience strongly preferred, with an understanding of size and color variations, fit-related returns, seasonal assortments, and replenishment.
- Hands-on experience with Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, including catalog management, reporting, promotions, and account troubleshooting.
- A track record of growing sales while protecting margins and maintaining healthy inventory.
- Working knowledge of Amazon advertising and how paid media, organic visibility, pricing, and content influence performance.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to turn data into clear business actions.
- Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and comfort working across Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations.
- The judgment to prioritize what moves the business and the willingness to handle the details yourself.
What success looks like
A profitable, growing Amazon business with compelling apparel content, reliable availability across key sizes and colors, healthy account performance, and a clear plan for continued growth.
