Job description

Edwards Vacuum LLC North America is seeking a motivated Channel Sales Development Specialist to develop and expand Edwards distribution network for its broad range of Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump products. In accordance with our Industrial Vacuum mission, Liquid Ring Pumps are key to growing this business in North America and requires a focused sales approach. This position will be based in the United States and will report directly to the Industrial Vacuum Business Line Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Building and managing partnerships with new and existing Edwards Vacuum Partners to achieve ambitious revenue targets
  • Expand the value-added sales channel (identify, sign and onboard new partners) in the North America region
  • Conduct regular Sales Partner visits to ensure mindshare, focus and proper reporting
  • Organize quarterly business reviews, goal-setting and corrective actions with sales channel partners
  • Instill accountability with the channel partner to provide an accurate forecast for upcoming projects/orders
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for channel partners; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing, new, potential future, and pipeline products.
  • Represent Edwards Vacuum at industry events and partner conferences
  • Assimilate well into Edwards Vacuum culture and maintain a positive attitude in the face of obstacles
  • CRM, forecasting and inputs to S&OP process
  • Work with the local and divisional product development teams

Required Skills:

  • You have worked in a channel sales role or in a key account role (experience with technical system integrators is a plus)
  • You have a degree in business, economics, or engineering
  • Understanding of vacuum processes and products
  • You bring industry knowledge of North American industrial and process markets
  • You have strong presentation and negotiation skills, at ease with C-suite or business owners
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to stay on task while working remotely
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Able to undertake analysis of business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • You thrive on the pace and dynamics of a growth stage company and can evidence that experience
  • You are home-office based in the USA with the expectation of up to 50% travel throughout North America

Experience:

  • Experience of qualifying and managing 3rd party sales partners.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven sales and marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of vacuum pump experience.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-year bachelor’s degree in business management or related engineering discipline
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
