Skipit, a US-based content team, seeks a contract video editor to turn founder's raw footage into seven finished short-form videos weekly for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, with platform-specific hooks and captions. You own the posting calendar and ensure nothing sits unposted.

You’ll propose formats, flag what works, and shape next month’s content from results. The 1099 role starts with a three-month term and a $450/month retainer, plus a paid trial edit.

• Ability to propose formats and hooks; assess performance and adjust.
• Capacity to ship content without prompting and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Turn founder's raw footage into seven finished short-form videos per week across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts with hooks and captions per platform.
• Own the posting calendar; ensure posts go live and nothing sits unposted.
• Suggest formats and hooks; flag what’s working early and push back when a post won’t land.
• Provide a concise Friday note on performance and changes; help shape next month’s content.
