Job summary

Stripe is seeking a video editor to lead our short-form strategy across YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. You will distill long-form content into concise, insightful clips for founders, developers, and economists, while owning our video presence and channel strategy.

You'll produce, edit, and optimize content, manage publishing workflows, and run experiments to improve engagement. Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in video editing with a portfolio of short-form content.
• Strong editorial judgment for selecting moments and quotes that resonate with founders and developers.
• Experience managing creative projects, including external animators and agencies.
• Hands-on experience growing a brand’s YouTube and Instagram presence.

Responsibilities

• Own the Stripe YouTube channel and Instagram Reels with added insight for founders and developers.
• Edit clips from long-form content with focus on salient moments and nuanced arguments.
• Manage end-to-end publishing: SEO-friendly titles and descriptions.
• Run experiments with formats and editing styles to find resonance.
• Advise teams on optimizing recordings and edits for the internet.
• Commission and manage creation of short-form assets for launches and announcements.
• Analyze performance data and feedback to refine the video strategy.
• Own reporting across LinkedIn, X, and Substack.
