Responsibilities

• Prepare injection molds for production.

• Perform minor machining of mold components.
• Measure tooling for spec conformance.
• Verify new tooling specifications.
• Reduce changeover time.
• Adhere to IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 standards.
• Implement cleanliness and organizational improvements.

Job description

This position will be responsible for preparing injection molds for production. Include, but not limited to :

• Maintain work areas in professional manner
• Changeover of tooling in injection molds
• Tooling preventative maintenance adherence
• Minor machining of mold components
• Measurement of tooling for spec conformance
• New tooling spec verification
• Changeover time reduction
• IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 adherence
• Cleanliness and organizational improvements
• Safety
• Efficiency improvements (more good parts per hour)
• Lean Manufacturing Implementation
• Communication of equipment and output problems to supervisor
