Job summary

Medbio, Inc. is seeking a Tooling/Mold Technician to support mold maintenance, changeovers, and tooling preparation in a NY-based manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot hot runner systems and handle large molds up to 4,000 lbs with proper equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and a solid safety mindset. Experience with injection molds and tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, maintain, disassemble, and reassemble injection molds.
• Perform mold changeovers and prepare tooling for production.
• Troubleshoot hot runner systems and tooling issues.
• Safely move and handle molds weighing up to 4,000 lbs.
• Maintain tooling, machinery, and equipment in excellent working condition.
• Share knowledge to improve tooling processes and team capabilities.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Preferred:

• 1–2 years of injection molding, tooling, mold maintenance, or related manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work around machinery and tooling for extended periods.
• Ability to safely work with large molds and material-handling equipment
