Job summary

BDO Government Services is seeking a Senior Associate to support a government client in implementing a new financial management system, with emphasis on organizational change management.

The role requires guiding agency stakeholders to understand, prepare for, adopt, and sustain changes to processes, roles, controls, and reporting, as well as supporting post-go-live adoption and performance measurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field is required.
• Three+ years in management consulting, advisory services, organizational change management, or related areas.
• PMP or ACMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports organizational change management activities for a government client’s financial management system implementation, focusing on processes, roles, controls, reporting, and adoption.
• Develops and maintains change management materials, including stakeholder analyses and readiness assessments.
• Coordinates with finance, procurement, budget, accounting, grants, and admin stakeholders to understand current-state processes and impacts of new workflows.
• Translates system changes into business impacts and user-facing guidance for adoption plans.
• Prepares client-ready materials, status updates, and implementation support documentation.
