• Prosci certification preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall change management strategy for a complex R&D digital transformation.
• Assess organizational impacts across four program workstreams and identify change implications.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
• Lead change readiness, adoption, and organizational engagement activities.
• Partner with program leadership, business stakeholders, and workstream leads.
• Develop strategies to support user adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Support the development of training strategies and change-related learning initiatives.
• Identify stakeholder needs, potential resistance, and organizational risks.
• Coordinate with workstream leads to align change activities with milestones.
• Develop and track change management metrics, readiness indicators, adoption measures, and risks.
• Provide updates and recommendations to program leadership.

Contract: Immediate through March 2027

Location: NYC / New Jersey / Pennsylvania area

Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote with occasional onsite collaboration

Compensation: $65–$75/hour W2, based on experience

About the Opportunity

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to support a major digital transformation initiative within a global life sciences organization.

This role will lead change management activities supporting a Digital Content Creation transformation within R&D, helping the organization successfully adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working across multiple workstreams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management leadership, organizational adoption, stakeholder engagement, and communications, with experience working within a regulated environment.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring someone who can develop a change strategy, understand organizational impacts, engage stakeholders at multiple levels, and drive readiness and adoption throughout the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall change management strategy supporting a complex R&D digital transformation.
• Assess organizational impacts across four program workstreams and identify key change implications.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
• Lead change readiness, adoption, and organizational engagement activities.
• Partner closely with program leadership, business stakeholders, and workstream leads.
• Develop strategies to support user adoption and successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Support the development of training strategies and change-related learning initiatives.
• Identify stakeholder needs, potential resistance, and organizational risks associated with the transformation.
• Coordinate with workstream leads to ensure change management activities remain aligned with program milestones and implementation activities.
• Develop and track change management metrics, readiness indicators, adoption measures, and risks.
• Provide clear updates and recommendations to program leadership and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate communications and engagement activities across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in change management, organizational transformation, program implementation, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives within complex organizations.
• Experience supporting digital transformation and business adoption programs.
• Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, R&D, or another regulated environment is required.
• Strong understanding of organizational change, stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption strategies.
• Experience developing change management strategies, communication plans, stakeholder plans, and readiness assessments.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and cross-functional workstream teams.
• Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives strongly preferred.
• Prosci certification preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, global, and highly collaborative environment.
• Must be comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
