Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (I/O psychology, Organizational Development, HR or similar).
• 5+ years related work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Agile, innovation, design thinking, customer experience or digital transformation.

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Change Management Consultant II with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay

$53.00 - $58.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description

The Change Management Consultant II will support change management efforts for company's Natural Gas Business Unit. This role will work with project teams, business partners, and impacted employees to help plan, communicate, and support changes tied to business, operational, technology, and process improvements. The consultant will:

• Plan and support change management work for multiple workstreams, agile teams, or projects within a larger program.
• Uses change management methods and tools; Prosci experience is preferred.
• Applies and documents change management practices consistently in assigned work.
• Communicates well in writing and verbally, including explaining complex ideas in a clear and simple way.
• Helps define desired outcomes and tracks measures that show progress toward those outcomes.
• Identifies how changes affect different groups and helps plan ways to manage those impacts.
• Connects change management work with related transformation efforts or initiatives with behavioral analysis.
• Creates and supports stakeholder engagement activities and adjusts the approach for different audiences.
• Identifies potential risks and issues early and helps address them.
• Works effectively when details are unclear and helps others keep work moving forward.
• Works well in a self-directed environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. (Prefer I/O psychology, Organizational Development, HR or similar)
• In addition to required degree, 5 (Five) or more years related work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365. (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within one or more complementary disciplines such as Agile, innovation, design thinking, customer experience, digital transformation.
• Ability to be in office at least 3 days a week.
• Ability to work standard business hours (8am-5-pm) Monday to Friday.

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Prosci Change Management certification.
• CCMP certification from Association of Change Management Professionals.
• A strong listener who can clearly articulate individual's points of resistance and find creative solutions for addressing them.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision and obtain buy-in.
• Comfort with complexity, ambiguity and change.
