Primary Talent Partners, LLC seeks a Project Manager II for a 3-year contract in Charlotte, NC. You will partner with delivery teams to oversee features, epics, stories, and backlog, ensuring alignment with P6 schedules and deliverables.

You will plan monthly sprints and manage backlog in JIRA, closing impediments and performing monthly cost/schedule forecasting. Candidates should be local to Charlotte with strong Excel skills and knowledge of cybersecurity and SDLC are a plus.

Qualificações

• PM experience with Agile, SDLC, and hybrid delivery.
• PMP and PMI-ACP certifications strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in JIRA and scheduling tools (MS Project, P6).
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office suite skills.

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Project Manager II with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 3-year contract with a potential for extension.

Pay:

$65.00 - $75.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:

Program Agile Oversight and Reporting:

• Partner with delivery teams for each project to oversee their Features, Epics, Stories, and Backlog to ensure alignment with P6 schedule and deliverables.
• Plan and manage monthly Sprints.
• Manage backlog in JIRA, and identify and close Impediments
• Perform Monthly Forecasting for Cost and Schedule

Project Gating Readiness:

• Gating: Research, identify, and prepare all required Gating artifacts for each project’s next Gate.
• Work with project SMEs to develop estimates needed for each Gate.
• Utilize project controls template or utilize PGO-D support for use of their estimating template and reporting tool.
• Develop Scope Baseline for each Project and Scope Management/Scope tracking template (typically installs of assets, licenses, or process project scope completions).

Desired Skills and Experience:

Candidates must be local to Charlotte and should be highly proficient in Excel. Candidates should have solid project management experience but someone with knowledge of cybersecurity and SDLC would be a plus - it would be beneficial for them to understand the context of the projects they will be working on.

• Familiarity with project scheduling and be able to quickly assess schedule impacts associated with Agile delivery.
• Proficient to Expert in Software and/or Communications/Telecom Projects
• Familiarity with backlog management, particularly within JIRA and technical delivery roadmaps.
• Agile Project Management: Familiarity with Agile ceremonies, managing scope and requirements traceability across multiple projects and workstreams, participate and facilitate large-room engagements as needed
• Proficient to Expert in Risk Management
• Proficient in Project Lifecyle, Stage-Gate process, and project artifacting
• Proficient to Expert Microsoft Office Suite and other Project Management tools: Excel, Word, Project, JIRA, Teams, PowerPoint, Visio
• Familiarity with Scheduling toolsets: Microsoft Project, Primavera P6
• Proficient with Risk Management tools: Active Risk Manager/ARM
