Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Change Management Process Architect – Associate II to design and improve end-to-end change approaches across Operations, ensuring changes are planned, tested, communicated, and adopted safely. You’ll govern the change lifecycle and tooling ecosystem, partner with senior stakeholders, and balance delivery speed with risk and control.

You will lead governance for Change Manager, automation agents, and related platforms, drive adoption, and ensure durable change outcomes

Qualifications

• 3 years of change management, release/governance, process design experience in a complex organization.
• Experience with issue/defect lifecycle, triage, remediation tracking, and retest coordination.
• Strategic partner capable of data-driven decisions with risk and controls mindset.
• Ability to remove process friction and translate insights into scalable improvements.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Proven ability to write user stories, manage backlogs, and coordinate communications.

Responsibilities

• Design and run change management architecture across end-to-end lifecycle (intake → readiness → release → stabilization).
• Establish and manage defect lifecycle controls with transparency and release readiness views.
• Governance for change tooling ecosystem (Change Manager, agents, eGain) and ensure metadata consistency.
• Coordinate operational readiness across people, process, controls, capacity, and runbooks.
• Identify friction and drive automation and workflow improvements.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, plan working sessions, and present risks and decisions to leadership.
• Deliver communications and training plans, establish feedback loops to improve adoption.
• Evaluate emerging technology and govern adoption with proper controls and durability.
• Capture requests, write user stories/acceptance criteria, maintain prioritized backlog.
• Apply escalation discipline and prepare decision-ready materials with options and recommendations.
• Define and report governance metrics and drive ongoing improvements.
